NELSON AND TASMAN TAKES THE JUMP

Take The Jump has had a baby! We now have a following in Aotearoa New Zealand and the enthusiasm is spreading fast. Jumpers down under have created their own Kiwi version of the TTJ website. They even added a seventh shift, Get Planting!

The Take The Jump shifts were rolled out to Nelson and Tasman during Climate Action Week in May.

A climate group in Nelson and Tasman regions have recreated the Take The Jump website for Kiwis and are running their own ambassador trainings to help get more people talking about climate solutions.

August is Travel Fresh month in Nelson Tasman, New Zealand!

Local Take The Jump supporters wore yellow to the launch event for new electric buses and are getting the word out every way they can to encourage locals to Travel Fresh - walk, bike, carpool and jump on public transport.

A local class of 12 years olds are helping to distribute Travel Fresh flyers to car windscreens, reminding drivers of the new electric bus options.
