NEW ZEALAND WEBSITE LAUNCHED

www.takethejump.org.nz

We are delighted announce that the first country specific Take the Jump website has been launched, for New Zealand.

By signing up to Take the Jump via this website ‘jumpers’ will be linked into everyone going on in New Zealand for Take the Jump.

This was a process lead by local Take the Jump groups (more news on the amazing things they’ve been up to coming soon), and included a top to bottom review of Take the Jumps resources and tools to ensure they are appropriate to the local context.

This included incorporating a Maori cultural framing to the content, as well as Maori translations of key phrases and Maori imagery.

Also, in recognition of the importance of nurturing the local environment and ecosystem to Maori and wider New Zealand culture in general, a seventh Shift was added: Get Planting. More detail on this soon.

We’re working on expanding our resources and support for different countries around the world, including non-English language versions of websites and resources.

Just to note, anyone anywhere can sign up and Take the Jump on takethejump.org, and you’ll be linked into this global movement, and able to access all our support and resources, where ever you are. Local websites and resources just help us provide more focused support.

Happy Jumping everyone, as always let us know if you have any questions at: team@takethejump.org
